Guest friendly

Gamepad controls

Plug in a Super NES style pad and guests can drive the whole booth without touching the keyboard. Bindings shown are the defaults, re-mappable from Settings - Gamepad.

Share the moment

Integrations

Set up in Settings → Integrations. Send every shot to your cloud, email it to a guest, or auto-print it. Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive use OAuth with a QR share link on preview; FTP/FTPs/SFTP uploads for backup; SMTP email sends the photo to an address a guest types in; and the CUPS printer picker targets a specific printer.

Cloud upload

Nextcloud (WebDAV) plus Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive via OAuth, and FTP/SFTP via curl.

QR share link

Cloud uploads get a public share link shown as a QR code on the preview for phone downloads.

Email to guests

Guests type their address on the preview and the photo is emailed to them via SMTP.

Printer picker

Detect printers on the system and send every photo to the one you choose.

Install a webcam and (optionally) a printer. Plug in a gamepad for guest-friendly capture.

Debian / Ubuntu: sudo apt install ./photobooth-desktop_0.0.11_amd64.deb

Fedora / RHEL: sudo dnf install ./photobooth-desktop-0.0.11.x86_64.rpm

Any Linux: chmod +x Photobooth-0.0.11.AppImage && ./Photobooth-0.0.11.AppImage

Windows: run the installer.

Drop background images into the Settings → Backgrounds tab, pick a theme, and start the party.
